How to Bend Concrete

THE award winning short documentary

reviews

Truly inspiring. The opening scene introduces Neal Aronowitz, a passionate artist/designer who decides to fulfill his dream and bend concrete into beautiful furniture. The director, Mahesh Madhav, perfectly controls the structure and cleverly connects the viewer to the story, showcasing the most common thing any artist share- the passion to go out there and do what you love. Neal admits: “I said to myself: I've got to do it. If I don't do it now, I'm never going to do it.” - and with his beautiful smile, immediately makes the audience want to know more.

A thought-provoking documentary. It successfully balances information and emotion: and the outcome has an educational value alongside a message inspiration. Just like any artist, Neal is a perfectionist. But unlike many artists, Neal realizes that it is impossible to achieve perfection, which leads to the message of the film- just go out there and DO! It's possible.
